Researchers from Fukui Snow Management and Construction Technology Research Center have developed a magic way to melt snow on the bridge in winter with the summer heat.

This system could store heat in summer and then use them to melt snow in winter. It is said that this kind of system could result in one-twenty-fifth the carbon dioxide emissions compared to conventional electric snow-melting equipment.
