The concentric circles are pretty wonderful when not in use. However, after showering for a long time, they will rise to force you stop showering, accordingly saving water.

The actual tile is only one piece (top picture). The 1,2,3,4 numbers in the second picture show the circles in various stages of raising up out of the tile, making it uncomfortable for standing.
