Pedestrian Protecting airbags

Filed under: WEIRD — 200702 at 9:40 pm on Thursday, June 5, 2008

In commonsense, airbags are designed to decrease the damage to the drivers and passengers in accident. In other words, you should at least in the vehicle. However, what if the car hit a pedestrian? You still think the guys in the vehicle are those who most need to be protected? Absolutely not!

This new car from Toyota provides unique airbags on the outside of the car. They work in the same way as traditional inner airbags, but they can give the unfortunate guy some extra protections. Maybe this is save his life.
