One switch for one light is the basic requirement. However, it is not necessary if you have a gesture controlled switch like this. With the touch-sensitive board you can control every light separately by sliding the finger to the lights’ direction. If you want switch on/off all the lights simultaneously, just make a circular motion on the board.
