A couple of obvious flaws to this, in my opinion.
In the picture, you can clearly see the dog licking the spout where the water is coming out. This ensures that any water flowing from the spout after he’s done drinking will be contaminated with his germs. I’m sure cleaning it wouldn’t be that easy. It would be nice if there was a protective, removable cover over it to prevent this problem. Also, the water is pouring onto the slope of the dish and gently hitting the water but this doesn’t create the active carbon effect nearly strong enough. You need light water splashing to create more oxygenated bubbles. Also, a dyed plastic dish isn’t sufficient enough for dogs and has been known to create problems with pet health. I only use stainless steel and the benefits of stainless steel greatly outweigh some cheap plastic dyed bowl. Just being honest. $69 wouldn’t be bad if it had those three issues resolved. Until then, I will just continue to use a standard stainless steel bowl. Fix it and I’ll buy it.
