Hitachi will launch an electronic blackboard in August to optimize the product mix in education market. As it is built in two infrared cameras that individually has a viewing angle of 170°, any co-ordinates written on the electronic blackboard will be detected and fed back to the PC to update the display in consequence. The 50 inches blackboard with a traversing carriage is expected to be adopted by more than half of the schools in Japan.
