You need a lantern not merely because you want it to light up the dark room, but also because you would find some fun with it. An interesting, beautiful, but also practical product has been something that every designer hopes to attain, and certainly Charles Jones is amongst them. And he succeeded. The Kutch Lantern is a lighting device which could be turned on when you squeeze its body (which is squeezable of course) or spin the rotary dial at its base, and that’s totally different from other lanterns on the market.
