Color-changing Milk Boxes

Packaging

Similar to the ‘Labels Indicating Freshness’ we introduced before, the innovative milk box also indicates the freshness of your milk by changing into different colors. As time passes by, the white box will gradually change into dark orange. And when the milk box is totally orange, it means that the milk is expired.

is it based on the expiry date or the chemicals produced by the milk turning sour? because in Australia, most milk lasts days beyond it’s due date?!

It’s basically a chemical reaction between the lactic bacteria from the milk and the components of the box. As the bacterias grow, the reaction is more likely to interfeer and the boz changes it’s colour.
