The $10,000 weapon won’t fire without the watch.

Launched by Armatix, the $10,000 weapon won’t fire unless the user is wearing a corresponding watch. But the gun still won’t shoot if the watch isn’t close enough. So only when you see the LED lights turn green, you can then use the expensive weapon. I cannot think of a rational reason why I want this gun, but I know clearly that I love the creative concept a lot.
Selling Price: 7,000Euro

so no one can use the gun against you?

Not unless someone manages to hold the gun close enough to the watch, other than that yes.

I think someone’s been taking too much to the concepts in ‘Shoot ‘Em Up’. All the same, it’s an intriguing idea, and something cool to think about. And hey, it may not be a useful thing to have now, but these things build up; next thing they’ll implant the sensor in the user’s hand, and other things of the nature. I think it’s interesting.

no good for home defense, unless you sleep with your watch on, but very useful for police. reminds me of the judge dredd weapons that record the shooter’s dna with each round fired.

I honestly can’t see a reason for this when some sort of biometrics like fingerprint analysis would be more secure, and considering the price point, probably wouldn’t be all that much more expensive. I guess if you had a child or something it’d be an extra form of protection but still, biometrics would be better in that case as well.

Are you trying to make a fashion statement with your gun?
The point is that it can’t be used against you, it’s not necessarily suppose to be super attractive.

So if you are a right handed shooter who suddenly needs to shoot left handed, perhaps from a wound or to maintain cover, the weapon no longer works. Maybe the watch itself is struck by a round. There seems to be a lack of flexibility in the concept.

90 percent of these comments are so ignorantly put. DO you sleep at night knowing your idiots? this gun concept is amazing. Te looks are a little sheek but who cares if the gun doesn’t match the purse you carry on your other arm im guessing? the point of this is to not have your gun used or used against you. There will be advancements for sure. I would have wanted to hear your thoughts on the first cell phone so i could laugh at your idiocy.
