City on the Ocean

While more and more scientists are doing their best to leave humankind’s footprints on the Moon, some designers have focused their attention on the ocean. The ‘Gyre Seascraper’, also known as a futuristic city on the ocean, is an exciting concept from them. It peaks at a depth of 400m and has the ability to accommodate up to 2000 people.
Featuring a comfortable living, Gyre consists of shops, restaurants, hotels and spaces for recreation. Even better, the concept is totally eco-friendly, obtaining electricity power via employing wind, solar, and tidal energy generation technologies. All the needed water is provided by the purification system at its base. Four 1.25 km long radial arms are built to accommodate the needs of even the world’s largest ships, apart from providing a pedestrian system for the residents.
