11 Floating Staircases

Not only in the outlook of the buildings, great changes have also taken place in the houses’ interior design, say the floating stairs. So today we’d like to show you 11 trendy floating stairs, which are achieved using glass balustrade, hidden bolts, unique shapes, etc. And the above, Maison NW, is designed by Nathalie Wolberg Architecture.

These are quite inovative and some are beautiful, but what I see are places that I will, guaranteed some day, take the opportunity to slip and fall. I am not safe on these, except maybe in the closed-in half of the double spiral hanging stairs which of course are my favorite. Give something for us clumsy people and children to hang on to!

The floating staircase in Peru seems safe enough.
I’d climb it…
… if I were on drugs or something.
