HP Designjet 3D Printers

Transforming digital 3D images directly into physical objects will soon be possible, according to HP, which plans to market its new line of rapid prototyping printers in Europe next month. Manufactured by Stratasys, the 3D printers are based on the fused deposition modeling (FDM) technology, which would transform the 3D images into 3D objects by extruding ABS plastic in thin layers and stacking them together.
