LED Chess Set

The future of recreation has arrived! Simply unfold chessboard, turn on the power button, and then you can play chess by pressing the board! Isn’t that cool? The portable LED chess set, inspired by the scroll paintings commonly seen in China and Japan, uses silica gel as its main material and therefore can be easily rolled up for portability. Another point you may be interested in is the onboard computer, which will make an opponent if you can’t find a partner. Great!

Great concept – but just for your info, I think this is the Chinese game known as “Go” in the UK – it’s certainly not chess.

That’s not chess, looks a bit like GO.

It’s not the commonly known Japanese Go either (the most popular). The board of that one consists traditionally of 19×19 lines. Wich means it is quadratic. Also it onle has 3 handicap points to either side, while this portrays a ratio of 3 to 5.
I’ve also heard someone call Chinese Go Chess in the past. I think it was in a martial arts film named Hero.
