Though sounds quite incredible and weird, the strap is actually supposed as a seating device by Alejandro Aravena. According to the designer, people can sit as comfortably as on a regular chair simply by slipping the strap around their knees and upper body. You don’t think so? Well, find a strap and try it out then.
