Taking hand-held sweeping tools like the brooms to a new altitude, designers have come up with the Broom Groomer, an ordinary broom that comes with a row of rubber teeth to get the dust off the broom and drop into the dust pan. To make cleaning the room an easy work, the broom also features a built-in foot rest, allowing the users to steady the dustpan without having to bend their backs down .

Add a rake to the bottom of the dustpan and I will buy it, even though I picture needing to put my other foot on the dust pan to help get all the dirt up onto the dustpan.

I agree with Jesse. My Mother is 82 and would love this, except it needs a vertical handle. Too hard for older folks to bend over constantly.
