The MIT student integrated a small scale digital projector with a robotic arm, creating an innovative interactive system that can help the users to check out images and emails directly on the table top. “Biway” All-electric Public Transportation

The “Biway” is an amazing vehicle concept from the Michelin Challenge Design 2010. It works in a way like this: the zero-emission public transportation individually acts as an electrical bus on city roads, but turns into a modern train on a fiber freeway when two or more are combined together. Each of the Biway has an onboard battery, which will get charged when the vehicle moves on the fiber freeway. The sun rises in the east and sets in the west everyday to indicate the changes of light; the spring, summer, autumn and winter rotate to indicate the changes of seasons. And now, the 12 figures that indicate the hours emerge and disappear to tell us how the time elapses. Dubbed “Re-clock”, the time-telling device features no minutes but merely 12 hours, which are indicated via 12 figures that gradually appear on the layers of cloth-face from midnight to the noon while then disappear successively from the noon to the next midnight.
