
The sun rises in the east and sets in the west everyday to indicate the changes of light; the spring, summer, autumn and winter rotate to indicate the changes of seasons. And now, the 12 figures that indicate the hours emerge and disappear to tell us how the time elapses. Dubbed “Re-clock”, the time-telling device features no minutes but merely 12 hours, which are indicated via 12 figures that gradually appear on the layers of cloth-face from midnight to the noon while then disappear successively from the noon to the next midnight.
