According to a scientific breakthrough made by scientists from Yansei and Stanford university earlier this year, algae can produce electrical current during photosynthesis. Escape Route System For Tall Buildings

See what we’ve learned from the World Trade Centre Evacuations: about 1,970 of the civilians that were trapped above the impact zones died mainly because they couldn’t get out of the tall buildings in the shortest possible time. So the conclusion is that we need to find better means for people to evacuate a tall building in the event of an emergency, and the Escape Rescue System seems like a practical one. It consists of five collapsible cabins, which can be lowered over the side of the building, to transport rescue personnel up into the building or help the trapped people out of the emergency quickly.
