Private Swimming Pool Inside the Wide Sea

20100707301

To tell the truth, I was really like a drop of water pitching and tossing in the rough seas when swimming in the inflatable pool attached to the boat. But when asked about my feelings, I simply couldn’t help shouting out: “Things cannot go better than having a private swimming pool in the great ocean!” Dubbed “Magic Swim” (I love the name!), the floating pool features several holes on its bottom to let in sea water and the entire setup process takes only about 5 minutes. So simply inflate the pool, let some sea water in, and then you can enjoy a cool swimming! See you later in the sea~ O(∩_∩)O [Read the rest of this entry...]

Fiber Optic Stilettos

20100707201

The Fiber Optic Stilettos, to some degree, have pointed out the importance of science and technology. I mean, the improvement of science not only changes our daily life, but also influences the woman fashion. The sexy stilettos are from Francesca Castagnacci, who uses light-reflecting optical fibers and LEDs as main materials, and therefore making the stunning piece shine like a bright star in the dark nights. Yuento Magic Umbrella Slides Into Its Handle

20100707101

One is always at choice whatever the circumstances are presented, and the most common thing I can think of is whether or not to use the umbrella. Surely the umbrellas do a good job to keep the users from rain, but on the other hand they make our bags and books wet after using! Therefore the umbrellas need some changes, for example, they can have a double-duty handle. Made by Yuento, the “Magic Umbrella” comes with a long, hollow plastic cone, which acts as both a handle and a portable box to store the wet folded umbrella. That means, you slide the umbrella into the cone, twist on the cap, and then you can carry the umbrella in the bags without worrying that water may get your other items wet. Referee Third Eye Watch Concept

20100706301

The England were struck by an injustice and they left the World Cup; Villa’s fourth goal of this World Cup was also a controversial one… you see, the miscarriage of justice has made referees no longer welcomed to the 2010 FIFA World Cup. Surely the referees didn’t do well enough during the football matches, but we should help them make objective decisions rather than merely blame them. And that’s why we love Andy Kurovets’ “Referee Third Eye Concept”. It is used to monitor the football game on the screen, alerting the chief arbiter of the player’s illegal actions by turning the relevant light into red. So what do you think of the “Referee Third Eye”? Will the device really help to ensure a fair match? [Read the rest of this entry...]

Glass Studio In Japan

20100706201

There is nothing special about the Light-Filled Glass Studio itself, because we’ve covered many buildings that use transparent glass as main material. It is odd that the glass architecture is designed for a school of Japan where earthquakes frequently occur, while the studio features no earthquake-resistant walls! But there is no call for you to worry over the studio’s stability, coz the designers have adopted 305 pillars to support the whole building. Made mostly of glass, the studio not only lets in enough light during the daytime, but shines like a diamond when the lights are on in the night. [Read the rest of this entry...]

20100706101

“i-sound” is an earbud-style earphone? Well, you are only half-right, because the “i-sound” Transformable Earphone is not designed to be plugged into your ear holes, but to be mounted around the earlobe. It comes with a cord-loop that can be easily adjusted into different lengths and shapes, therefore making the “i-sound” convenient to different users. [Read the rest of this entry...]

20100704201

Rain Drum, umbROLLa, Air Umbrella, Rain Brush Umbrella and Allochroic Umbrella…new umbrellas with innovative improvements have come forth continuously and they all have left us a deep impression. The Wheel Umbrella will be another surprise. Featuring a rolling wheel rather than a fixed point, the new umbrella can be dragged around to leave behind lovely smiles. So every step you take forward, several smiles then appear on the ground. I’m not a kid any more, but luckily I can still feel the happy in childhood with the Wheel Umbrella. Wheelchair Motorcycle

20100703201

The designer of the Conquest Motorcycle is quite concerned about the leg-impaired people and wants them to enjoy the motorbikes as much as we do. Powered by an 1170 CC BMW engine, the three-wheeled motorcycle can go from 0 to 60 mph in 7.6 seconds and features a top speed of 105 mph. Since it is designed for wheelchair users, the Conquest Motorcycle also features an entrance at the back for the users to get onto the vehicle while remaining in his/her own wheelchair. Stampy Digital Camera

20100702501

Frequent viewers of I New Idea must have noticed that we’re quite concerned about the new designs of cameras, and we’ve published many interesting and innovative cameras during the past. But few of them would beat the Stampy Digital Camera designed by Jinhee Kim. It works in a way like this: you take pictures, edit them on the camera, and then you stamp the photograph onto a sheet of paper. So simply put, the Stampy Digital Camera is a digital camera that also doubles as a rubber stamp. Isn’t that interesting? [Read the rest of this entry...]
