New US Bank Notes

We’re not sure whether the new US bank notes designed by Richard Smith will “rebrand the US Dollar, rebuild financial confidence and revive our failing economy”, but we can promise that you can easily check out how much money you have by simply opening the wallet. Why? Because the one dollar is shorter while the 100 dollar is the longest, so the more longer notes you have, the richer you’re. Apart from the length, the new notes also change in colors and images for the users to easily distinguish between them.

$1 – The first African American president.

$5 – The five biggest native American tribes.

$10 – The bill of rights, the first 10 amendments to the US Constitution.

$20 – 20th Century America.

$50 – The 50 States of America.

$100 – The first 100 days of President Franklin Roosevelt.

FDR, Obama, Indians… no thank you. Give me Franklin, Washington, Jefferson and Reagan.

Given the choice of photos, I take it these notes are for the United Socialist States of America?

excellent idea! specially the bill of the 10 amendments since many people don’t know or remember their rights. maybe all the bills should contain important information of the country (there is a high percentage of people from USA who can’t identify their country on map, for example).

Why do people need to see socialism as bad? I could never understand that.
This is just part of the history of the nation.

The design is very attractive, but how effective against fraud would they be?
Also if the design is trying to be educational perhaps they could be more factual. Obama’s ancestry is both of European and African decent.
Also I agree with Tom for Franklin, Washington and Jefferson to be on the bills. These three are honored by history, but Obama is to recent (Reagan is as well).

I don’t think that the USA will be changing its momentary design so drastically anytime soon. that said these look swank.
also, why Regan? He wasn’t a very good president and his trickle downs system has fucked our economy up for years, not to mention the fact that it created a gap between the rich and poor almost unconquerable.

This is a fairly old concept. Over here in Australia all our bank notes are coloured and sized differently like this.
They’re also made from a tear resistant polymer, and for security purposes contain a transparent window with an optically variable image, and have an image of the Australian Coat of Arms only visible when held up to the light, making them practically impossible to counterfeit without access to a mint.
I have always been confused as to why the US still use paper money that’s all the same size and colour. How do the blind tell the difference between bills if they’re all the same?

Why not keep the same presidents and introduce the new layout and colors? Interesting idea….
