Nearly all the calendars we see nowadays are creative, and obviously the Life Calendar is among them too. “How was your day?” is the first of the series, which asks the users to draw different pictures so as to record their various emotions. Even though you still need to do some work, you’ll actually find it much easier to document your life with a Life Calendar rather than with a diary.

Unlike a diary, where you say why you felt glad or unhappy, this only superficially shows the emotion with no rationale. In many cases, looking back on a diary entry, one is able to see that something changed and made a bad event better and so on. Instead of making faces, why not just number your day from 1 (bad) to 5 (good)?

Prinzhal, if you numbered your day from one to five that would null out the creativity/point of this calendar.

A picture’s worth a thousand words. That makes your diary seem pretty vacuous.

because if you’re pissed or sad it can both mean 1. Likewise, happy, glad, funny, could all be 5s.
I’d be drawing all sorts of faces on there.
