RockPaperRobot’s FLOAT was brought to our notice due to its changing shapes. Constructed from 64 magnetically levitating cubes, the FLOAT would change its sizes and shapes when you put some items onto it, but retains equilibrium in common conditions with the help of a system of tensile steel cables.
