A special English teacher, a robot, was invited to work at an elementary school in Daegu, southeast of Seoul recently. He is not tall, has a big belly, and walks around the classroom on wheels. His way to teach English is quite unique, that is to communicate and interact with student via a TV display panel on his face. Isn’t that interesting?
It is said almost 30 robots have started teaching English in South Korean and we may see more teaching robots stand in a classroom in the future.
