Surprised, ordinary sugar can be used as a sustainable resource to make lamps? But of course you may need other materials when to make a Crystallized Sugar LED Lamp as that of Won Joon Lee’s.
After experimenting with sugar by burning, melting, freezing, Won Joon Lee finally created light-diffracting sugar crystals when he placed LEDs into concentrated sugar water. The unique sugar crystal lamp seems quite beautifully designed, giving out soft light to decorate your rooms. Besides, its modular design also allows the users to freely change its shape according to their different needs.
