Proteus helmet is a design from Jessica Dunn, a student from Sydney, Australia. Created to be foldable, the Proteus helmet also features three main layers, including polycarbonate material to protect against abrasion and impact, polystyrene foam to absorb impact and a layer of flexible material to absorb sweat. Due to that three-layer design, Dunn’s helmet can protect the users’ heads with higher safety while never making them uncomfortable.
