“Life within Objects” is a design that provides us a new way to interact with animals and plants. Put forward by Spanish-based designer Martín Azúa, the chair integrates a plant pot and an animal shelter with a seating device. Made of recyclable polyethylene with the rotomolding technique, the chair is ideal for both indoors and outdoors use, therefore allowing you to live a harmony life with your turtle, rabbit and your plants.

Cardboard Cocorico Cooker

20111023006

Hello little chefs before the screens, we’ve gotten some amazing toys for you: the Cardboard Cocorico Cooker. It looks the same as a real cooker, with tiny time knobs and temperature knobs. Of course it cannot be used to bake cakes, and is actually made for the kids to practice their cooking ability. But who cares? The play kitchen set is cute enough for kids.

Good ideas in, good ideas out. After Motorola has been “married” to Google, the company is seemingly to announce much more amazing products, including the MotoACTV Smart Watch, a GPS-enabled watch built with a music player, a wireless Bluetooth headphone, an FM radio and so on. It is compatible with your Android phone for call and text receiving, and weighs merely 35g for a comfortable wearing. The watch will soon be available in November, featuring an 8GB or 16GB of internal storage.

Twist Sharpener

20111021015

Totally unbelievable… a pen sharpener cannot come with a much simpler design than the Twist! It is constructed of merely a stainless steel sheet, bent to mimic a sharpener. So if everything can get a simple basic design, will the environment left with less footprints? We hope so.

Folding Wood

20111021007

Metal seems cold while wood makes you warm? Well, then welcome you to a new age that prefers folding wood as iPad cases, cellphone cases, or laptop cases. Chopstick Garden

20111021001

Nature is where we get most things used in daily life, and thus they’re expected to go back to the nature world once they’re not in use. The “To Be Nature Wood Chopstick” is just a good example that turns the waste into valuable things again. When you’re done with the chopsticks, stick its starch end into the ground, and a seed will come out to grow into a green plant gradually. Don’t believe that? Wait for the concept to turn into real product and you can then try it.

Led Zeppelin Ladder for Corner

20111019097

Led Zeppelin is a step ladder especially designed for the corner. It was named after rock band Led Zeppelin in reference to their 1971 track “Stairway to Heaven”, and we really wish it would lead us to the heaven too. But back to our real life, the ladder can rest flat against the wall and fit into the corner at a 45 degrees or 25 degrees, due to its unique shape of the top and the bottom rungs.

“Chopp” Chopping Board

20111020008

Can you believe that the “Chopp” is claimed to be the last chopping board you need to buy?! Although I have no liking for exaggeration, I must admit that the ergonomic chopping board does deserve the praise. It’s a board with interchangeable functionality, including a hollow base to hold the chopped food, a cheese grater, a preparation aid for fruit, an egg holder and so on. Made of high density Polyethylene and ABS PC, as well as fused with Antimicrobial material, the Chopp is both durable and healthy for use. Hey, Alastair Crompton, reserve me a Chopp please.

Sony Echo

20111020001

Our ordinary life is constructed with extraordinary stories, and even a chair, a lamp can remind us of some sweet memories. Thus when I get some old things from my friends, I’d like to know his/her story with the furniture or gadgets. Shen Hao Cheng’s Sony Echo is rightly something to record the life story of a secondhand product. It allows the new owner to retrieve significant information conveniently, and may even make emotion produce resonance between people. Kinda like a message recorder that can be passed on from one people to another… Really interesting.

Nasty Tea Set

20111018076

Different from most tea sets that emphasize a luxury or exquisite style, the Nasty Set by José Paulo Alves Corceiro features an eccentric and humorous design that endows the tea cups and tea pot with big round eyes, straight rigid figures and arch smiles… Kinda like those cute characters of comics, animated films or books.
