Day and Night Poster, just as implied by its name, is a series of unique posters that display different scenes in the light and in the dark. They seem quite common when there’s sunlight or lamp light hitting them, but will show totally different things as the light becomes dim. You see, the moon rises in the posters, a neon sign turns on, and there may be vampire wandering in streets… Wow, cool!

45 Degree Bottle Neck

20111011059

You know, design is sometimes so simple. The innovation of this water bottle merely lies in the neck that has been shifted from the top to a 45-degree angle. But the result turns out to be amazing: firstly, it’s more convenient to refill your bottle from a water cooler; secondly, it allows the users to drink in a more comfortable pose, no longer requiring them to have their faces pointed skyward. So how do you like it? The idea is really fantastic, in my opinion.

Küat Bottle Lock

20111013007

Until now I can still remember the shock expression appeared on my buddy’s face when I locked my bike with a water bottle, or more exactly this Küat Bottle Lock. As you can see, the new lock is cleverly shaped like a bottle, but features 5-feet long, 8-mm braided steel cable to ensure the safety of your bike. My only worry is that you may need to find somewhere else to put your real water bottle, if you’ve decided to use the Küat Bottle Lock.

While most designers are busying adding more and more elements into their artworks, Japan-based Yuki Matsueda has, however, managed to let some elements escape from his art pieces. Face Sunglass

20111012029

Quite interestingly, the ‘Face Sunglass’ reminded me of a mask commonly used in factories the first time I saw it. I mean, it seems more like a mask rather than sunglasses actually. But the product is said to feature a good protection function that can block 99.9% UV rays, thus keeps both your eyes and your skin away from overexposure. It is available in three sizes, with a price tag varying from 16000KRW to 21000KRW.

Water Climb Weighing Scale

20111012001

Simpler is better. This Water Climb is constructed with merely a watertight bag and a cylindrical marked glass tube, but it still indicates your weight with accurate figures. The only drawback I need to point out is that the weighing scale may not work well with those who’re too fat, because I can see the item turning into a water fountain if it is added with too much weight. Just for kidding.
