Thinner and better, this new generation of solar panels collaborated by Japan and Austria scientists is merely 1.9 micrometers thick, but is flexible enough to stick onto almost everything, so as to help generate electricity in a much effective way. But the only problem is that the solar panel can only convert 4.2% of sunlight into electricity, so we may still need to wait for years till its commercial availability is high.
