Multi-stretchable Liquid Metal Wires without Breaking
Posted on January 13, 2013 by mary

Scientists from North Carolina State University have successfully developed a wire with length stretching several times but not affecting its normal operation. The wire is wrapped in a layer of highly elastic polymer, internal conductive material is liquid alloy material of gallium and indium. The strongest stretchable wire is preferably conductive, it can be used to produce headphone cable, charger, or stretchable electronic products etc.
