What couldn’t be artistic, if the most common potatoes have been turned into art works? Via a series of portraitures painted on potatoes, the Japanese designer successfully shows us various aspects of human life.

“Why facial expressions are drawn on potatoes”, the designer explained, “is because potatoes seem to be striking similar to human faces. Not only potatoes have uneven skins, and like us, they have different sizes, shapes and forms.” Amazing!

Proposed by the German architect Jakob Tigges, the largest man-made mountain will be 1000m tall, and covered with snow on its peak for at least half the year. If that finally come true, a range of activities like skiing, hang-gliding and rock climbing would be available to the Berlins, rightly inside their city. But is the mountain just a hoax or a real opportunity? We may keep a watch on ‘The Berg’ website to find the answer.
