Firstly adopted by Tom Caudell in the early 1990s, ‘augmented reality’ has finally reached the December edition of men’s magazine Esquire. After experimenting with things like origami (May edition) and e-ink (October 2008 edition), this time, Esquire will invite the readers to interact with the magazine via a PC. A C++ application is needed to recognize a black and white patterned marker on the printed page and then translate it into a video sequence enhanced by 3D animation on the computer screen. This is a new commercial advertising the new Audi Q5 has been launched on television across Europe. This AD created by British advertising agency Bartle Bogle Hegarty(BBH) features an animated man drawn on the side of a cardboard box carefully reshaping the box into a Q5 SUV.

In the wee hours of the morning the giant egg start hatching and, by break fast time, the egg finally hatched. There are words of “Fresh Eggs Daily” written on the yolk.
A giant egg is more useful than lots of words.
