Innvo Labs’ Self-adjusting Robot Pillow is a product that can ensure you a good night’s sleep by automatically adjusting its shapes and heights according to your body’s position. The pillow is filled with a set of inflatable air chambers inside, with a pressure-sensitive thin mat connected outside. When use the pillow, you simply need to turn on the mat, place your shoulders on it, and then your head will be cradled in the most comfortable way during your sleep. The material is really magic, as it can fold up itself automatically once you shine the light on it. But as a matter of fact, the principle of the origami is quite simple: different types of materials feature different levels of ability to absorb energy. So you can successfully do the experiment too: prepare a sheet of pre-stressed plastic, print bold black lines onto it, trim the sheet into the shape you want, and shine an infra-red light on it – look, the material then  folds itself. Incredible? You should have a try too.

Time is a mystery, while Hans Andersson’s LEGO Clock makes time more complex and mystical. Named as “Time Twister”, the Rubik’s Cube-esque LEGO Clock is constructed with two Mindstorm, five motors and black and white LEGO bricks. When switched on, the blocks will then be rearranged to display the time by communicating through Bluetooth. As the designer offers no detail about its basic principles, I still don’t why and how the clock works. So if you know, hopefully you can share it with us.

The Airsketcher, which looks the same as ordinary fans, actually has an astonishing function that it can automatically “follow” the users and bring them with cool air. How? Because there’s a small-sized webcam built inside the fan, which can track a specially-made flag so as to locate the users. Besides, the fan can also recognize different symbols and act accordingly. Quite often we see new tables coming in unique shapes or featuring distinctive functions, but we seldom imagine a table would have the ability to walk, just as we humans do! Honestly the Auto Ink reminds me of sewing machines. They look almost the same in appearances, but their tasks are different: a sewing machine draws patterns on cloth while this Auto Ink draws on your skins. It can have any assigned symbols tattooed onto your arms once the main switch is triggered. The symbols are assigned either randomly or through divine intervention.

It’s always so nice to share some amazing news with you guys and recently we’re informed that the labor-intensive work of paving a road has been simplified by a Dutch machine called the Tiger-Stone.

Wherever the device goes, it will produce an instant road in the front and what you need to do is to fill the machine with enough bricks and lay the bricks in line. According to the manufactures, the Tiger-Stone can lay out about 400 square meters (6 meter width) everyday so your city would soon have a new look with several Tiger-Stone working at the same time. I am the kind of person who seldom remembers to unplug the devices when they’re fully charged, so you can imagine how much I’ve paid to the electric power bureau. But the Wind Up Socket, featuring an integrated timer, may change that. All you have to do is to rotate the plug to set the duration. And the socket will then cut off the power automatically, as the time passes by. For forgetful guys like you and me, the socket is really the best choice.

The HexaKopter is a 1.2kg, six-rotor micro aircraft which has a flight-time of up to 36 minutes. Equipped with a high-definition camera, the device can also be used to shoot and deliver amazing images, apart from transporting items (which weigh up to 1kg). What’s more, the built-in GPS locator enables it to return to its staring position (home) automatically.

Though claimed to be the first football you can see through on the earth, the transparent design is not the only character of the CTRUS soccer ball. Made out of reinforced elastomers, the outer net-embedded shell not only emulates the bounce of the inflated football, but offers it the advantage of not loosing air. The electronic components inside also enable the control stations to wirelessly control the ball.
