“Switch” is a liquid cooled lightbulb that combines analog and digital technology to bring light into your home. It was showcased during the CES2012, coming with a digital driver in the base and some LEDs mounted on the top. With the digital driver to monitor the bulb’s temperature all the time, the fluid inside the glass globe will draw heat from the LEDs if the temperature is too high. Such a unique function not only allows these lightbulbs to be used more widely, but ensures them a better lightening result. As an additional bonus, each component of the bulbs is reusable or recyclable, making them also ideal for the eco-friendly lifestyle.

Your eyes are not telling you the facts or truth sometimes, because the Sticker Light Bulb is actually not high-tech gadgets as it may look in the image. It’s merely a black sticker with a bulb pattern, transforming any boring glasses or jars into a personalized lamp as you light a candle in those containers.

Why are designers so innovative? Almost every time I met some new designs I would ask myself that question. So you know, that question emerged again, after I accidentally saw the AudioBulb, Wireless Speaker Light Bulbs that bring both light and music to your home. It’s easy to use: simply replace ordinary bulbs with the AudioBulb, insert you iPod into the included dock, and then you’ll hear beautiful music coming from any places of your house. With warm light filled with your rooms, the AudioBulb is certainly the best thing related to the word “romantic”.

Mickey bulbs for Mickey fans. From designer Hong-kue Lee, these LED lights are especially created for kids, to bring them closer to the world that Mickey lives in.

Launched by Japan-based Panasonic, this is the world’s first LED bulb that uses clear glass to show the light source. It features a single filament, coming with a power of 4.4 watts while lasting for over 40,000 hours. Requiring no time to get prepared, the bulb offers 100% of the light once you switch it on, and thus quite ideal for public places like the stairs and toilets. As a bonus, the bulb is announced to get a high efficiency, even remaining high lumen of 70% at end of life.

Commonly we see cartoonists use a lightbulb to present an idea or a thought rushing into the mind, but here we’ll see Solovyovdesign’s new bulbs in the same shape of your brain. Thanks to GE for coming up with the Energy Smart® LED bulb, we can save much more electrical energy in the future. Compared with ordinary bulbs, the new one can distribute light in all directions, but costing less energy. It consumes 9-W of energy, amounting to a 77% savings compared to 40-W incandescent. Please use the lights YOU NEED—Well, we’re required to save power energy from time to time, but how? I mean, we truly can control how often we use the lights, but we couldn’t decide how much energy we’re using since every bulb is designed to illuminate the whole room with certain light intensity. Except the ‘EcoBulb’ designed by Seokjae Rhee!!! It is an adjustable bulb that comes with six distinct sections, each of which could be remotely controlled to change their brightness and lighting directions.
