Chemistry and art are two separate words that seemingly would never have any connections, but designer Pani Jurek’s “Maria S.C. Lamp” has now brought them together. Looking like a crystal chandelier, the lamp is actually made from chemistry test tubes placed into circular plywood bands. It seems completely nice when without anything in the tubes, but the result becomes more amazing when each tube is filled with colored liquid or inserted with flowers.

Simply driven by this, Tim Baute designed a chandelier with 7 bulbs respectively mounted on seven arms of a central electricity cable.
