As a newer and cleverer solution to solve the problem of “overcharging”, Bracketron’s GreenZero chargers can automatically shut off once your devices is fully charged. The GreenZero, available in a Mushroom and Stone styles, is compatible with iPhone, USB, and Android specific models, shutting off automatically to save energy and avoid top-off stress on batteries. Set to be released at CES in Las Vegas later this month, the GreenZero will be priced at $22 to $29.

Creative Laptop Bag that Can Charge Your Computers.

Honestly we seldom see laptop bags redesigned with many new functions, not to mention a bag that actually serves as a charger as well. This amazing design comes from Brad Ascalon, which utilizes wireless charging technology to convert a laptop bag into a charging machine. Now have a look at the bag: its inner tray is in fact the charger and its carrying strap actually contains USB male connector at one end and a plug on the other. So once connect the strap end to another computer or an electrical outlet, and then you can get your laptop recharged wirelessly. That’s not all! The same USB port allows the laptop bag to work as a thumb drive on its own too.

RCA has sent in images of their latest project, the Airnergy Charger. It is dubbed as a ‘Wi-Fi Hotspot Power Harvester’, which directly shows us how the device works. Yep, you’ve guessed right, Airnergy Charger ‘harvests’ Wi-Fi signals in the air, converts them into electricity and stores the energy in its own lithium battery. Moreover, even though the users are not on line, the device could also harvest Wi-Fi energy as long as they’re within the signal area. And you could never imagine what a huge amount of energy the Airnergy Charger could produce, as claimed by the company, the energy converted from merely one strong signal could charge a Blackberry from 30% to full in less than 2 hours.
