“Hide-and-seek with the Missing” Floor Design

By designing such a color-changing floor, Solenne aims to bring the public with the awareness of many floral species extinction threat, as well as to inform them the importance of preservation of nature.

Nano Wine

One same cup of wine offers totally different taste, smell, and even color, if it is activated by different wattages and duration of exposure to microwave, that’s rightly the short description of the ‘Nano Wine’. Based on the principles of nano encapsulation, the drink is actually composed of millions of molecule-sized flavor capsules in it, which can be activated by microwave to release different flavors of particles, so as to endow the wine with different tastes and looks. The product is a part of “Next Nature” studio’s “Nano Supermarket”, a storefront of speculative nanotech products capable of being mass produced within the next ten years.

Ever wished to be born with blue eyes? You soon could be, with Dr Gregg Homer’s Lumineyes technology that can permanently change a person’s eye color in just 20 seconds. The amazing technology uses laser tuned to a specific frequency to remove brown pigment from the top layer of the iris, and then blue color will emerge in two or three weeks’ time. Currently the technology is still experimented and may hit the market in several years with a price of about 5000 US dollars.

Obviously Charlie Bucket is a designer full of imagination and innovation because he has brought us a unique dress that is made from 600 feet of knitted tubes with liquid running through. By shooting different colored materials through the tubes, the dress also changes its color to make it more attractive. Jing Hua Interactive Light System
