Using discarded car and bicycle parts he collected everywhere, Bangkok-based artist Roongrojna Sangwongprisarn has created a perfectly-detailed Predator-inspired motorcycles that are drivable too. Have a close look at its stunning details and florid exterior coating – who would ever believe the vehicle is made with old bike parts? Though there’s no information about its speed, we’re still quite interested in the motorcycle: when riding such a cool vehicle, who would need speed, right? Let’s just ride it slowly, and attracting everybody in the street.

Its unique expandable architecture makes it transformable too, so it may change its shape and function in different ways according to its user’s needs. But pity it’s not real yet, still waiting for some company to license it and put it into production.

Life is music, thus we all love symphony instead of monotony. Keeping that in mind too, a Dutch designer Jeriel Bobbe has created the ‘Suitcase Symphony’ using several rearrangeable wooden panels that each features a ridged surface, to take the place of monotonous floor in airports. Assembled together, the panels will produce a particular music composition as people pulling their suitcases through on them. Even though the music created by these panels is not that fabulous as those produced by an instrument, it indeed sounds more pleasant than the monotony of airports.

This amazing design comes from Brad Ascalon, which utilizes wireless charging technology to convert a laptop bag into a charging machine. Now have a look at the bag: its inner tray is in fact the charger and its carrying strap actually contains USB male connector at one end and a plug on the other. So once connect the strap end to another computer or an electrical outlet, and then you can get your laptop recharged wirelessly. That’s not all! Although computers are still designed without emotion or spiritual excitement, they now at least can read your emotions. The new computer system is developed by researchers from the Universidad Carlos III de Madrid, who have looked at 60 acoustic parameters including the tenor of a user’s voice, the speed at which one speaks, and the length of any pauses, in order to let the computers understand the change of your emotions. Besides, based on predictions of where the conversation may lead, the system can even adapt its speech accordingly and therefore to go through a good conversation with the human users.

World’s Smallest Electric Vehicle Made from a Molecule

Scientists from the University of Groningen in the Netherlands have created the world’s smallest electric vehicle that is made from a synthetic molecule. The EV comes with four motors too, and powered by electrons to make it move forward. There’re some limitations to this micro-EV of course, as it could only operate at low temperatures and the molecules need to be kept still by a vacuum before they are activated.

How thin do you think the package of a daily disposable contact lens could be? In my opinion, the “Magic” from Japan’s first and largest contact lens and care product manufacturer Menicon is rightly the answer we’re looking for.

Created with Menicon’s proprietary technology, the Magic measures merely 12.5% of the thickness and 40% of the volume of a conventional pack used to store contact lenses. That’s really astonishing, as you can simply put your contact lens in wallet or card packs to take it around. 45 Degree Bottle Neck

You know, design is sometimes so simple. The innovation of this water bottle merely lies in the neck that has been shifted from the top to a 45-degree angle. But the result turns out to be amazing: firstly, it’s more convenient to refill your bottle from a water cooler; secondly, it allows the users to drink in a more comfortable pose, no longer requiring them to have their faces pointed skyward.
