To update its iOS credit card app launched in May 2011, Square recently issued a Version 2.1 app that features a better transaction speed, improved tipping interface and a no-signature service for transactions less than $25.00. With the new version, transactions of $0.00 price points are also supported.

Several students from Umeå Institute of Design in Sweden have built this innovative electronic piggy bank based on iPhone. But it seems more like a cute monster, and you’ll need to slot in a credit card to “feed” it if you’d like it to be happy.

The Piggy Bank will get agitated when you walk around it or move it, become quite satisfied if you store into it some money, and go back to sleep after the feed time. Yes, it acts just like a naughty pet, and hopefully such an interesting piggy bank would help you save more money than you’ve ever imagined.

Except for the fact that Dynamic Card has won the Best of Innovations for Personal Electronics at the 2011 Consumer Electronics Show, another reason why we recommend the new credit card is because the card allows the users to conveniently protect their credit card information and program the card with two accounts.

This credit card put forward by Kwon Ki Nam not only provides money for the blind to use but tells them the transaction details via the Braille displayed on it. When the cardholders have their fingerprints on the card to make a transaction done, a built-in speaker would also then “tell” them what they’ve purchased.
