Casio EX-G1: The world’s slimmest shock-resistant digital camera

Not to be too excited with the Casio’s G-Shock branded watch released in 1983, the EX-G1 is a too-solid gadget that claims to be water-resistant, dust-resistant and shock-resistant. Several related experiments here will let you learn more about the EX-G1. Nothing goes wrong when it falls from 7ft (2.13m). It is also waterproof and freeze-proof, which means that the camera also works at a depth of up to 10ft (3m) below the water for an hour, withstanding temperatures as low as 14°F (-10°C). More amazingly, the 12.1MP camera also features an interval shooting function and a high speed continuous shutter. Only 19.9mm wide, convenient to carry. E-book reader with double screens

Amazon kindle is a trend of ebook. However, because of lacking flipping pages which is a frequently used movement of reading books, you won’t be comfortable. What about an dual-screen ebook reader?

30 years continuous battery

US Air Force Research Laboratory aims to develop a new battery whose juice could last 30 years.

This new battery is constructed from semiconductors and uses radioisotopes as the energy source. The reason the battery lasts so long is that neutron beta-decay into protons is the world’s most concentrated source of electricity. Plus, the reaction is non-thermal which means laptops gonna be cooler than ever before.
