Can you figure out whether these fish are true or fake, if without a closer observation (in fact I don’t think observation can work to tell us the truth this time…)?  Really good work, these fish are actually three-dimensional paintings created by Japanese artist Riusuke Fukahori. Each piece consists of multiple transparent layers, with realistic fish painted on them after each layer of liquid resin becomes solid. Rightly by repeating that process, the artist could finally bring us so incredible 3D paintings.

Psalt Design must be kidding us, because the new fish bowl now brought to us is so soft that it may be slipping off the tables… Never safe for the fish! But we’re all wrong, as the bowl is actually made to be solid, with a weird corner on its bottom, which makes it quite unique among all those fish bowls with a flat bottom. Definitely I’ll get my fish such an interesting new house, if I had ever raised some fish.

A research group from Tokyo Institute of Technology have recently developed artificial bone using fish scales. In early experiment, the researchers found that “the collagen that makes up fish scales, has a similar structure to the thickest layer of the human cornea, the corneal stroma”. You know what? There is a new kind of fish that looks particularly beautiful in the night. They’re not real fish, as you may have guessed, but artificial fish with built-in LEDs.
