Victorinox has won a good reputation all around the world for its smart but also multi-functional knives, but the fact proves that Victorinox also performs well in manufacturing SSD storage devices.

The USB keys come with capacities of 2 GB and 4 GB, and they can be easily clipped onto paper documents and therefore to ensure you a more convenience use. But apparently René Woo-Ram Lee has proved that the USB flash disks can become more convenient and easier to use when built with a clip on one side—it is both a practical tie clip and a fashionable flash drive. To meet your different needs, the designer also creates several shells for the USB.

It’s the right time to safeguard your hardware in a more effective way…And one of the new solutions is put forward by Wu Jiang, a Chinese designer who advocates scanning the flash drives to ensure there’s no virus before you connect them to the computers. The name of his design is the “U+ USB Hub and Disk Scanner”, and it will work in tandem with the popular virus protection software to ensure the virus infection doesn’t spread. But at present, it is still a concept, and we may have to wait for years to see the creative gadget on the market.

Inspired by Japanese Soma-Toh, Mac Funamizu has come up with the Funny USB Memory Stick that features an interesting and direct way to present its spare capacity. Compared with conventional USB memory disks needing to be connected to PC to show its usage conditions, this device presents its spare capacity with disco lights: no lights stand for “empty  stick”, pink light for “images stored”, blue for “documents”, green for “movies” and “all lights are on ” for “full memory”. Cool!

·cut the erasers into needed lengths

·pull apart the flash drive

·hollow out a gap in each eraser and make sure that they fit in your flash drive well

·put the flash drive into the eraser and test if it works well

But also due to their small size, we find it difficult to find the USB flash disks when we urgently need one. And that’s why some manufactures have decided to launch large-sized USB flash disks, such as the Glasses USB Flashdisk shown here. It is not a real pair of eyeglasses but merely a USB flash disk shaped like that. It stores 2GB of data in its 2mm frame which also doubles as a bookmark. If they could work as real glasses, we bet the Glasses USB would be more popular.
