A USB flash drive for iPad? You must be kidding, as we all know that the iPad doesn’t have any USB port. But the truth is that this USB Flash Drive can connect to iPad wirelessly, streaming music, movies, photographs and documents to your iPad or Android and Windows smartphones. It can support up to 32 GB SD cards, which provides much more space for file loading. Providing over five hours of stand-alone operation, the gadget could get reenergized via USB from any computers without the need for software.

Honestly there are no USB storage devices making me feel safe enough as my data seems completely open to those who get a good control of computers no matter which kinds of lock I use. But Crypteks’ USB storage is announced to be an exception. It is double locked, with both durable solid-aluminum housing offering mechanical security and a built-in 256-bit AES Hardware Encryption. Its aluminum housing features five twisting rings displaying 26 letters of alphabets, thus to improve the safety level. If that’s not enough, the 256-bit AES Hardware Encryption will provide you with another lock that is claimed to have seldom been broken before.

On the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas, Victorinox exhibited its Secure SSD, a 256GB SSD flashdrive that features a monochrome 96 x 46-pixel e-Paper display. As a result, you can conveniently check out the available memory space without having to insert the devices into your computers. The final product will be a combination of Swiss Army Knife tools and the Secure SSD and you’ll find 128GB, 256GB and 512GB versions on the market later this year.

The designer aims to call for more and more people to share their files and data with others, so you can easily have your information shared when plugging your laptop to the USB flash drive built on walls.

If you’d like to know where the five flash drives are located, we suggest you go around the New York City or check them out on Aram’s website.

What does the clip mean to USB flash disks? Indeed, they’re two things that seem irrelevant to each other. But apparently René Woo-Ram Lee has proved that the USB flash disks can become more convenient and easier to use when built with a clip on one side—it is both a practical tie clip and a fashionable flash drive. To meet your different needs, the designer also creates several shells for the USB.

It’s the right time to safeguard your hardware in a more effective way…And one of the new solutions is put forward by Wu Jiang, a Chinese designer who advocates scanning the flash drives to ensure there’s no virus before you connect them to the computers. The name of his design is the “U+ USB Hub and Disk Scanner”, and it will work in tandem with the popular virus protection software to ensure the virus infection doesn’t spread. But at present, it is still a concept, and we may have to wait for years to see the creative gadget on the market.

Inspired by Japanese Soma-Toh, Mac Funamizu has come up with the Funny USB Memory Stick that features an interesting and direct way to present its spare capacity. Compared with conventional USB memory disks needing to be connected to PC to show its usage conditions, this device presents its spare capacity with disco lights: no lights stand for “empty stick”, pink light for “images stored”, blue for “documents”, green for “movies” and “all lights are on ” for “full memory”.
Eraser and USB flash drives seem to be unrelated to each other, but you won’t think so after checking out these items. As you can see from the picture, the designer hides a flash drive in a white eraser, which also protects the electronic components apart from erasing the documents.

Plus, it’s quite easy to DIY within five steps:

·get two erasers (one for the flash drive and the other for the cap) and a flash drive

·cut the erasers into needed lengths

·pull apart the flash drive

·hollow out a gap in each eraser and make sure that they fit in your flash drive well

·put the flash drive into the eraser and test if it works well

Congratulations, you now also own an eraser USB flash drive!

Primarily, we endeavored to produce mini-sized USB flash disks since we wanted to take them everywhere. But also due to their small size, we find it difficult to find the USB flash disks when we urgently need one. And that’s why some manufactures have decided to launch large-sized USB flash disks, such as the Glasses USB Flashdisk shown here. It is not a real pair of eyeglasses but merely a USB flash disk shaped like that. It stores 2GB of data in its 2mm frame which also doubles as a bookmark. If they could work as real glasses, we bet the Glasses USB would be more popular.

Selling Price: $29

Let’s start the article from the disadvantages of high tech. Taking USB flash drive for example, the small-sized storage device effectively keep our information safe and allows us to use them anywhere. Then you never imagined what would happen if they went wrong? Well, all the information disappeared…and left nothing. That’s why the designers are developing these heavy-duty USB flash disks. Made from metal, these key-shaped flash drives could last quite a long time to serve you while not requiring you to pay special attention to them.
