What will the futuristic architecture look like? Japan-based Kisho Kurokawa’s “Nakagin Capsule Tower Building” may offer us some inspireations. Put forward in 1972, the tower building was constructed of 140 individual pods that could be changed and moved freely, thus to create a modular building with full functions. In the designer’s assumption, the 140 pods should get replaced about every 25 years so that the whole building could have a 200 year life span.  To let many more people get in a close touch with the “Nakagin Capsule Tower Building”, Kurokawa recently showcased one pod at the Mori Art Museum in Tokyo, in which the visitors would find a full-furnished house for temporary living.

Just as shown in the pictures, the cylinder is in fact a compact foldable workstation. It will not occupy too much space when not in use, but will offer you really much convenience after it is transformed into a fully functional workstation. So how do you like it?

Aside from motor vehicles, Mercedes-Benz also produces helicopters, which are still impressive and deluxe. Its new design is the Mercedes-Benz Style EC145 luxury helicopter, a collaborative work with Eurocopter.

The twin-engine turbine helicopter has eight seats, which are all mounted on rails, ensuring an easy and quick reconfiguration to make enough room for luggage.

It borrows the interior furnishing style from Mercedes-Benz’s new R-Class range: the floors and ceiling are equipped with sumptuous wood, and the seats are made of exclusive materials.

There’re also three multi-function boxes, integrating a cool box, cup holder, table, 15-inch monitor and DVD player.

Considering the different needs of business and private travelers, the EC145 also comes with a partition wall that separates the cockpit from the cabin.

Coming in a similar outlook as the famous Sydney Opera, the design we’re to argue about is actually a pop-up camper, which is surprisingly luxury than you’ve ever thought！It features everything you can find in a presidential suite or a sumptuous apartment: a teak veranda, ceramic toilet, electrically adjustable beds, water heater, hot air heater and even the low-energy LED floor lighting. Its price? Well, as the old saying goes, if you have to ask, you can’t afford one.

This cabinet is located in the center of the room. It can rotate 360 degrees, so you can get every unit, such as piano, desk, TV and so on, wherever you are in the room.

You won’t guess what is hidden in a huge book like this at a glance. In fact, a fully furnished room gonna pops up after opening the book. Although they all made from normal cardboard, this is still a good concept for those who are lacking in living space. Hope the development of new material can help us get a real book house.
