Car Bluetooth Rearview Mirror Kit

20111207023

What do you usually do during the boring time caused by traffic jam, to play your iPad, have a chat with beautiful ladies or just sit there without thinking anything? Maybe you should get some better alternatives, such as the Car Bluetooth Rearview Mirror Kit. It includes a 4.3 inch touchscreen, a built-in GPS navigation, multimedia on-the-go, DVR capabilities, and a wireless parking camera, once installed to replace your normal rearview mirror, the device would then allow you to play games in car. Isn’t that great? It offers you great pleasure while never taking up you too much space or costing you too much money.

World’s First Eye-controlled Arcade Game

20111119016

“Your eyes are all you need to save the earth”. That’s what the world’s first eye-controlled arcade game deeply leaves in my mind. Named as “Tobii Eye Asteroids”, the gaming machine comes with only one “start” button, and requires you to use your eyes to interact with games. Do you wanna to have a try? I don’t, just because I cannot get used to anything without a keyboard or touchscreens. If only using my eyes to save the earth, oh god, the result would disappoint you.

Virtual Ping Pong

20111031001

The main reason why I don’t play Ping Pong is that I can barely touch the ball with my bat. But I’ve decided to have another try with the Virtual Ping Pong, as it features no Ping Pang table or ball at all, but instead requires the users to swing the bat in air according to the sound played by a recorder. In other words, the Virtual Ping Pong is kind of a game that you need to use your imagination to play. So are you ready? Let’s start now.

SideBySide Handheld Projectors for Multiplayer Games

20111018087

Disney is a wonderful place full of imaginations, in my mind, thus it’s quite amazing to see its research labs come up with the SideBySide handheld projectors for multiplayer games. Each unit combines a camera with a modified DLP projector that outputs a single color of visible light and also an invisible infrared image. The IR image can be detected by the camera built with second projector, which would then know clearly where the image output by the first projector is and what it is doing, and thus create another image to interact with the first one. That may sound a little complicated, but you’ll soon find out how it works with the video after the jump.

“Sphero” Robotic Ball

20110926004

The “Sphero” is the world’s first robotic ball that can be controlled by an iPhone or Android device. It comes with a semi-opaque white look, along with an inductive charger to reenergize it. The users simply need to load down certain free apps for the ball, open the Bluetooth of their iPhones, and then they can control the ball to accomplish certain tasks. Planned to be sold in December for about $130, the “Sphero” can now be ordered on its official website. Go and check for more information if you’re interested.

Zapparel Augmented Reality Clothes

20110826201

Zapparel Augmented Reality Clothes, which was launched at the International Fashion Expo, Magic in Las Vegas on August 22-24, is an amazing design that allows people to interact with it based on Augmented Reality technology. The following video shows how people can play games with the T-shirt: a space man with robot arms will appear and shoot UFOs soon after one person takes photos of the T-shirt, and then the users can touch the UFOs to play the game. There are 20 different T-shirts in the series, and we really couldn’t wait to see how surprising other 19 ones would be. [Read the rest of this entry...]

20110115201

Although most people usually say that playing chess is much like participating in a war, they may still feel surprised to see the unique chess pieces made with .223 caliber bullet shell casings. The chess board is amazing too, as it is constructed from pure solid hot rolled steel that measures 3/16 inch flat and 1/2 inch square. Wow, that’s really the mightiest chess set we’ve ever seen! Our creativity never goes to the end, and this time we’d like to introduce the giant pool game designed by Steve Wienecke. It’s similar to pool, but features a really large “table” that is four times larger than regular ones. And to play the game? You need to throw some balls to hit the others.
