Clay Moulton, a 2007 Virginia Tech graduate designed this innovative lamp which is powered by gravity.

To turn on the lamp, the user just moves weights from the bottom to the top of the lamps, and then the slowly falling of the mass that spins a rotor gonna generate the power for about 4 hours.
