The innovative device is a new kind of floating island that is used to purify the water. Powered by exercise machines, it will begin to work as soon as several exercise machines are operated together. When the so-called “Synchronicity Island” works, it will firstly pump the water into the four tanks, and then start the whole purifying process. What a nice green machine!

AWS Ocean Energy, a British based company, has unveiled a project of under-water power plant. The unique point of this project is that it use buoys rather than turbines.

A company called Marine Current Turbines will be installing a 1.2 megawatt tidal turbine off the coast of Northern Ireland in August. The SeaGen turbine will be the world’s largest ever tidal current device by a significant margin. It will generate clean electricity for approximately 1000 homes.

Franz Zotlöterer, an Austrian engineer, developed this mini-power plant which is simple to construct and has a turbine efficiency of 80%. But, this plant have a extra function, which is improving water quality by oxygenation. His vision is to restore the health of the funning water to where it was before human intervention led to reduced oxygenation due to laminar flows—while winning power at the same time.
