Lollipop Pencils

20100902301

Here’s an idea I love most, the Lollipop Pencils! Using a lollipop to take the place of regular erasers, the new pencil is quite safe for eating so that mothers no longer have to worry about kids chewing on their pencils. Think that sounds sweet? But the only problem you need to know is that you cannot directly put them down onto the tables unless you’ve finished the lollipop. [Read the rest of this entry...]

20100823301

Honestly, we haven’t seen any fantastic bicycle designs for quite a long time. And now it’s the right time to show you what the US-based artist Sergio Garcia has created for kids. One is a frame-bending tricycle, which uses a round metal to connect the seat and the handlebar. And the othertricycle has two handlebars! Really interesting work, but how could a kid safely ride such weird tricycles? Maybe only the young riders know. [Read the rest of this entry...]

Everyone has a secret, and so do the kids. They’re growing up, learning something new from their parents and teachers every day, and at the same time they’re experiencing the growing pains. To help children aged between 6 and 9 effectively cope with stress and fears, Emi Schenkelbach has designed the cute toy named as Echo. It has an acoustic pipe running from its ear to the belly, so as to record and repeat the words that the kids have said to it. Since the voice will be modified in the belly, no one else would know clearly what Echo is saying so that the kids can keep their secrets. Besides, the voice from Echo will also create unique sound effects to make the children laugh heartily. [Read the rest of this entry...]

Winning entry at LG HI-MACS European Design Award, the “Slide Eat” Lunch Table may not be the best furniture for kids, but it indeed looks cool and quite different from common furniture. Firstly, the new table features a curvy design to take the place of regular sharp edges, keeping the kids from getting hurt. Another point you will be interested is the built-in holders for containing plates, glasses and cutlery, and we bet that would help a lot to avoid the spilling of food. Five Pointed Eraser

20100505101

At the first glance, Five Pointed Eraser seems like a terrible idea, bringing needless complexity to something that is so simple: erasing the errors. But to those who want their work to always look sharp, that’s a useful gadget. It features five different heads (respectively measures 1mm, 3mm, 4mm, 5mm and 6mm wide), rubbing out merely the errors while nothing else. And most important, the eraser won’t quickly become useless for its purpose as most people might have thought, because the worn-down erasing heads could be detached to expose sharp new heads. Scheduled to be released on May 13th, the Five Pointed Eraser will soon hit the stationery market. [Read the rest of this entry...]
