Saint Clair Lamp

20100301501

Solar-powered lamps are not that new to us, but the Saint Clair Lamp presented here still surprises us on account of its unique way to get charged. When the dark night comes, the lamp can then be used as a hanging lamp to illuminate your room. Designed by Stéphane Maupin, the innovative lamp has won one of the five VIA project assistance grants this year. [Read the rest of this entry...]

Scroll Painting Lamp

201001221001

When you’re furnishing a home, light is the most concerned issue—neither too bright nor to dark, what you actually need is a dimmer switch lamp, a handy electrical component that lets you adjust the light levels so that you always feel comfortable. In this article, we’ll show you a new lamp that is shaped like a Chinese Scroll Painting. As it turns out, this lamp works in a totally unexpected way: it goes brighter when you pull its bottom down and turns darker as you roll it up. Well, possibly you will find the lamp more interesting and impressive if you paint something on it. Just imagine that.
