An Odd Collection of Wall Lamps

Pinch me, crack me, tear me, whatever you like is all right but please don’t treat me too politely. Yea it sounds somewhat unbelievable, but they’re an odd collection of wall lamps by JI YOUNG SHON recently. Follow me to learn further now!
Pinch me to light me up! Totally covered by silicone rubber, the lamp won’t work unless you pinch its surface vigorously.
Dubbed as “Crack me”, this lamp is covered with so much plaster on its surface that you really need to crack it with enough power to light it up. Don’t feel sorry.
“Tear me”is another part of the collection, which also needs your physical action to start it.

Ultrathin Aluminum Lamp

Made from 5mm ultrathin sheet, the 100% aluminum lamp is seemingly quite smart as the thin sheets have been bent and painted white. It features a unique circuitry as well. Rather than hiding it inside the lamp, the designer has exposed the orange circuitry on the “neck” of the lamp, highlighting a powerful visual impact. Certainly, the lamp deserves a smart reputation also because the easy control of its brightness via a built-in electronic card.

According to the Belgian designer Tim Baute, chandeliers have been so bulky and spectacular in modern times that we do need some nostalgia ones to bring us back to the pristine beauty of chandeliers. Simply driven by this, Tim Baute designed a chandelier with 7 bulbs respectively mounted on seven arms of a central electricity cable. The construction of the chandelier is so light that it moves whenever there is breeze passing through your room.
