See What You Print (SWYP) is a sleek concept by Artefact, which is designed to give the printers a new great change. The SWYP combines with a simple stylish appearance and a fantastic user interface, which have made us think of products from Apple. Once wirelessly connected to your cameras or computers, the printer will then allow you to choose and edit your photos with its multi-touch screen. The image on the screen is exactly the photo you will finally get, and that’s also why the printer is named “See What You Print”.

Ok, let’s firstly make it clear that this wearable pen may be just a design for fun… Because viewers will seldom find it practical even though this  pen claims to be an innovative item that allows safe using from water when you’re in bath. It is molded with plaster and there’s a real pen embedded inside. Simply wear it on your nose, wow, your nose now becomes a pen too.

Students in the University of Groningen will soon take their courses in a 3D theater. The new classroom features a large touchscreen measuring10 meters by 2.8 meters and the world’s largest touchscreen has a curvature of 135 degrees.

It detects about 100 simultaneous touch inputs, monitors the touch-motions with 6 OptiTrack cameras, and then reacts to the users’ command effectively.

What would tables be like in the next few years? Recently the Media Computing Group from Germany offered a possible answer with their BendDesk. It is a clever combination of common tables and computers, featuring a vertical display and a horizontal larger one. Frequently used devices like mouse, keyboard, paper-based documents and others are all built within the two areas, which promise an effective interaction with the users based on multi-touch technology.
