It is good to preview what the world would be like 10 or 20 years later, and all that is founded on the development of technology. But imaginations go faster, and the Pen Concept Mobile Phone here just gives us a chance to know what our cellular phones look like in the future.

It is comprised of three pens that act as the keyboard of the handset and a stretchable touch panel (which works as a display) hidden between two pens. Although one of the three pens could be used independently to write on the display, almost everything is based on voice control.

We’re not sure when it is available, but if you’ve been looking for a similar phone like this, then the Pen Concept Mobile Phone is rightly the one for you. Leave your comments below if you think it is a cool-looking cellular phones.

The conceptual cellphone from Nokia is achieved by a young Chinese designer, Daizi Zheng. Different from usual mobiles powered by lithium battery, the eco-friendly phone adopts bio battery (which generates electricity from carbohydrates) as the power source. Therefore you only need to buy a can of cola to power your phone when the battery dies out, and claimed by Daizi Zheng, “Bio battery has the potential to operate three to four times longer on a single charge than conventional lithium batteries”. So it would be nice to see this practical concept hit the marketplace soon.

Do you still remember the Bear Phone? Similarly, this V588 mobile phone is also specifically designed for girls. Its design inspiration derives from the foundation box, and a 2.6-inch screen is equipped in the place originally for the puff. Besides the basic communication function, it can also play MP3\MP4 files, which is equipped with a speaker, a Bluetooth and a video-recording camera as well. Meantime, the diamond-studded surface of the foundation box may make it possible to win more affection from the female. However, why does it look more like a copycat?

This so-called Zumba phone is claimed to be the first fully hands-free mobile phone. It is as small as a credit card and the real phone part is located at the back of the “credit card”. All the functions are controlled by your voice. In addition to this hands-free advantage, it seems that this phone is pretty secure as well. Since all the information is stored on a website called “Zumba Lumba”, even if someone get your phone they will not be able to control it.

Although iPhone is a perfect product in our mind nowadays, it won’t be the best forever. So, what could a cellphone do in the future? Nokia tell us.

This new concept named Morph is developed by Nokia Research Center (NRC) and the University of Cambridge (UK) which could transform in any shaped totally depending on the user. Thanks to the nanotechnology, this incredible idea is not merely a dream, it will come true in 7 years. Plus, this cellphone also comes with transparent electronics and self-cleaning surfaces.

Video after the break (NOT REAL)

You could also check out this concept from “Design and the Elastic Mind” exhibition, on view from February 24 to May 12, 2008, at The Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) in New York.

Designed by John Mielke, this concept is powered by your own blood. And the special smart-ink pixel painted on your skin could convert your skin into a touch screen which could not only show the information but also interact like iPhone.
Imagine that your skin gonna be a function like a display, you won’t be excited?

This idea from Yamaha is very good for cyber-meeting. The rotating arms with microphone arrays could capture perfect audio source. It just weights 537 g which is very portable. You could just plug it into the USB port, meeting is OK.
The device will be available in early December 2007 for about $546.

Although you could setting speed dial, it’s not enough for elders. This new concept could be a good alternative.
You get a bunch of RFID tagged badges to program someone’s number and even insert their picture. Just place the badge on the call button and press it, it’s OK.
