“Life within Objects” is a design that provides us a new way to interact with animals and plants. Put forward by Spanish-based designer Martín Azúa, the chair integrates a plant pot and an animal shelter with a seating device. Made of recyclable polyethylene with the rotomolding technique, the chair is ideal for both indoors and outdoors use, therefore allowing you to live a harmony life with your turtle, rabbit and your plants.

You’ve ever seen a flower pot that can move up and down automatically? Meet your surprise with this Floating Pot. It comprises of two containers that fit inside one another: the inner one holds the soil and the plant while the outer one is usually filled with water. When water is added, the inner container then becomes lighter than water and thus moves up. But as the water gets used up, the inner container will move down to remind of the owner that the plant needs some water.

Muse is a musical pot that amuses you. Collaborated by Lie Zhong-Fa, Koo Yoori and Jeon Se-Yong, the pot will play a song automatically when it is completely rotated to the left. Nowadays, demanding schedules often occupy people so that he/she has no time for other things like watering the plants. As a result, the busier you become, the sooner your plants die. But the ‘Breathing Pot’ from Jae-Han Song seems like a clever solution to that problem. It simulates breathing, expanding and contracting all the time…until the water runs out. So when you find the pot stop ‘breathing’, it’s time to water the plant. Easy as that!

Simpler but practical designs are always popular and today we’ll show you another ‘we should have thought of that before’ product. It is the ‘Keep2Green’ pot by Paul Gribincea. The concept about it is quite simple: the system makes a full use of the space and water by planting some grass beneath the hanging pot. So you’ve gotten that? Good. Mainly made from metal, ‘Keep2Green’ is heavy enough to withstand moderate winds and holds the flower pot steadily in the air.

If you’re into cooking at all, you may appreciate these elegant handles designed by Valera Barnayev for ordinary pots and pans. Nothing is particular about the handles but the elegant shapes, and to some extent, they seem to be too beautiful and elegant to be used. I mean, shall we really need such handles? Those usual ones are enough for us. Anyhow, it’s still a good work.

In my opinion, there’s no pot on earth more eco-friendly or nutritious than average soil, oh wait, it is rightly where the plants are originally belongs. And that’s why I really intrigued by Strata Flower Pot. It is no different with normal flower pots except that it still supports the flower even when the flower is planted in the soil. That means, you can smash the Strata Flower Pot and bury it into the soil to supply the plants with needed elements.
